Intro to Guerrilla Video Primer

In 2003 while with Cascadia Media Collective, Randy Shadowalker completed work on the ground breaking activist training video Guerrilla Video Primer. This tutorial covered every major aspect of video journalism for activist and was shown before many political demonstrations both around the country and the world for several years. It was also featured on Free Speech TV from 2003-2005.

Services we provide for instructional video are:

* Project Planning: We can consult with you about the goals of your project and how best to go about meeting them. This would consist of offering ideas about production style, format types, level of detail and video length. We would also go over aspects of back ground music and narration.

*Narration: This is the most important step in any instructional video. It actually consists of a few different steps and each is crucial. First the script should be written in a clear and concise way. It should be easy to understand without excesive confusing detail. Choosing the right narrator is also very important. We have a few highly qualified in house narrators in the Eugene and Portland areas. Recording the narration is equally important. We have state of the art recording equipment and can also direct narration to get the apropriate delivery for the project.

* Video Production: We can video tape both on location as well as in a studio. Different projects require different recording styles. We can provide the proper service for any project.

* Editing: The editing phase combines all the raw elements of the project into a smooth linear flow of information. This includes all video clips, music and audio clips, narration, images and graphics as well as any other effects and titles.
