J18 Re-enactment from A Year in the Streets

This Demonstration was to cap off the "Seven Week Revolt" a radical political conference of discussion groups, seminars and free school skill sharing. This also happened to fall on the day after the mass arrest of the marchers for Jeff Free Luers and Craig Critter Marshall. It was also just 2 days after their arrests so tempers were still high this day. The re-enactment it's self was to commemorate a standoff with police (in the same park as the re-enactment) from a year before.

After awhile the crowd started to march toward downtown which brought out the riot squads of both Eugene and Oregon State Police. Needless to say, it made for a most memorable day.
